January 4, 2025: La Canada, CA 91011 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA) and the visiting West Warriors (Torrance, CA), observed St. Francis's basketball team overwhelm West by a score of 63-35.
The Golden Knights (18-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Loyola (Los Angeles, CA). The Cubs come into the challenge with a 10-7 record. In their last challenge, Loyola trounced Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA), 52-27, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors encounter the El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. West will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 57-26 non-league loss to Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA).
