California High School Soccer - Archbishop Mitty knocks off Watsonville
January 4, 2025: San Jose, CA 95129 The Archbishop Mitty Monarchs soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Watsonville Wildcatz to 1 in the Monarchs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Monarchs now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Archbishop Riordan for a West Catholic bout on Wednesday, January 8. Archbishop Mitty will play a Crusaders squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Harbor (Santa Cruz, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Watsonville moves to 1-2 on the year. The Wildcatz travel to King City (King City, CA) to play the Mustangs in a PCAL - Mission bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 1-3. King City won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Seaside (Seaside, CA)
