California High School Soccer - Clovis nudges Liberty
January 4, 2025: Bakersfield, CA 93312 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Clovis Cougars (Clovis, CA) and the host Liberty Patriots (Bakersfield, CA), saw Clovis's soccer squad hold off Liberty by a count of 1-0.
The Cougars (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Buchanan (Clovis, CA). The Bears enter the Tri-Rivers battle with a 12-0 record. In their last battle, Buchanan Ridgeview (Bakersfield, CA), 1-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Patriots battle the Stockdale Mustangs (Bakersfield, CA) in a South Yosemite - River battle, on Tuesday, January 7. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 9-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 4-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Independence (Bakersfield, CA).
