January 4, 2025: Baytown, TX 77521 Goose Creek Memorial Patriots (Baytown, TX) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders (Houston, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Goose Creek Memorial moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Patriots host Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX) to meet the Rangers in a non-league test on Tuesday, January 7. The Rangers come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Fighting Crusaders now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Churchill for a non-league test on Thursday, January 9. Strake Jesuit will meet a Chargers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Brennan (San Antonio, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 1-2.
