Louisiana High School Soccer - University Lab toppled by Newman
January 4, 2025: Baton Rouge, LA 70803 Newman Greenies (New Orleans, LA) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host University Lab Cubs (Baton Rouge, LA), 6-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Newman advances its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Greenies host Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA) to meet the Swamp Owls in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. The Swamp Owls come into the match with a record of 1-14. Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Hammond (Hammond, LA)
The Cubs now sport a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host Port Allen for a Division III District 5 match on Wednesday, January 8.
