The St. John-Vianney Lancers got by the visiting St. John's Cadets basketball squad by a final score of 53-51 in Sunday's non-league outing.

Next, the Lancers clash with the Red Bank Catholic Caseys (Red Bank, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 6. St. John-Vianney will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Caseys go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 56-42 non-league loss to Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, NY).

With the loss, St. John's falls to 10-3 on the campaign. The Cadets host Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD) to play the Falcons in a Washington Catholic bout on Tuesday, January 6. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Our Lady of Good Counsel lost 75-49 in their recent league bout against Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD)
