North Carolina High School Basketball - Olympic fells Garinger

Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), 59-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Olympic upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to play the Sabres in a 4A Conference 49 bout on Friday, January 7. The Sabres go into the bout with a record of 7-4. South Mecklenburg lost 62-52 in their recent league bout against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC) in a 4A Conference 59 bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Garinger will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 78-73 league loss to Rocky River (Mint Hill, NC).
