New York High School Basketball - Salmon River overwhelmed by Hermon-DeKalb Central
January 5, 2022: DeKalb Junction, NY 13630 The Hermon-DeKalb Central Demons basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Salmon River Shamrocks to 31 in the Demons non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Demons now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hammond Central for a Section 10 West contest on Friday, January 7. Hermon-DeKalb Central will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 48-29 non-league loss to Salmon River (Fort Covington, NY). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-7.
Next up, the Shamrocks play the Franklin Academy Huskies (Malone, NY) in a Section 10 Central bout, on Friday, January 7. Salmon River will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 77-55 non-league win over Saranac (Saranac, NY).
