The Northwestern Warriors basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Shawnee Braves to 29 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Warriors now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Benjamin Logan for a Central Buckeye - Mad River contest on Saturday, January 8. Northwestern will battle a Raiders team coming off a 61-32 non-league win over Riverside (De Graff, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 5-3.

The Braves (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Kenton Ridge (Springfield, OH). The Cougars enter the Central Buckeye - Kenton Trail contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Kenton Ridge was defeated by Bellefontaine (Bellefontaine, OH), 61-34, in a league contest.
