River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Pasco Pirates (Dade City, FL), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Royal Knights confront the Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes (Spring Hill, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 6. River Ridge will attempt to better on its 11-1 season record. The Hurricanes enter the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Steinbrenner (Lutz, FL).

The Pirates now have a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they host Wesley Chapel for a 5A D6 challenge on Friday, January 7. Pasco will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Cypress Creek (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-5.
