The Carnegie Wildcats (Carnegie, OK) basketball nipped the host Big Pasture Rangers (Randlett, OK), 55-51 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Cordell (Cordell, OK). The Blue Devils go into the non-league test with a 0-5 record.

The Rangers now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Grandfield for a Southern Eight test on Tuesday, January 10. Big Pasture will encounter a Bearcats squad coming off a 73-50 non-league loss to Empire (Duncan, OK). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-2.
