Massachusetts High School Basketball - Uxbridge nips Blackstone Valley RVT

January 5, 2023: Uxbridge, MA 01569

Uxbridge Spartans (Uxbridge, MA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers (Upton, MA), 55-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Uxbridge upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Leicester (Leicester, MA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 0-7. Leicester lost 63-14 in their recent league bout against Prouty (Spencer, MA)

Next up, the Beavers play the Montachusett RVT Bulldogs (Fitchburg, MA) in a Colonial bout, on Monday, January 9. Blackstone Valley RVT will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
