January 5, 2023: Brattleboro, VT 05301 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Brattleboro Colonels (Brattleboro, VT) and the visiting Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave (Rutland, VT), saw Brattleboro's basketball squad overcome Mt. St. Joseph Academy by a tally of 49-37.
With the victory, Brattleboro improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Colonels travel to St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT) to confront the Hilltoppers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. St. Johnsbury Academy won 56-43 in their recent league challenge against Colchester (Colchester, VT)
Next up, the Green Wave confront the Windsor Yellowjackets (Windsor, VT) in a Southern Vermont - B challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. Mt. St. Joseph Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 60-46 non-league loss to Stevens (Claremont, NH).
