South Dakota High School Basketball - Castlewood overwhelms Sisseton
January 5, 2023: Castlewood, SD 57223 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Castlewood Warriors (Castlewood, SD) and the visiting Sisseton Redmen (Sisseton, SD), saw Castlewood's basketball squad wallop Sisseton by a tally of 61-29.
With the victory, Castlewood improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Warriors host Deuel (Clear Lake, SD) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Deuel won 79-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Webster (Webster, SD)
Next up, the Redmen play the Groton Tigers (Groton, SD) in a A Region 1 challenge, on Monday, January 9. Sisseton will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 67-32 non-league win over Warner (Warner, SD).
