Kentucky High School Basketball - Dayton ripped by Highlands
January 5, 2023: Dayton, KY 41074 The Highlands Bluebirds basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Dayton Greendevils to 37 in the Bluebirds league triumph on Thursday.
The Bluebirds now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newport for a District 36 contest on Saturday, January 7. Highlands will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 60-46 non-league win over East Central (St. Leon, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-3.
The Greendevils (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Villa Madonna (Covington, KY). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, Villa Madonna was routed by Ludlow (Ludlow, KY), 81-66, in a league contest.
