California High School Basketball - Lincoln overwhelms Foothill
January 5, 2023: Lincoln, CA 95648 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA) and the visiting Foothill Mustangs (Sacramento, CA), saw Lincoln's basketball squad wallop Foothill by a tally of 74-46.
With the victory, Lincoln improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Fighting Zebras travel to Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA) to confront the Miners in a Foothill Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 9-8. Nevada Union lost 67-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Johnson Warriors (Sacramento, CA) in a Greater Sacramento challenge, on Monday, January 9. Foothill will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 60-55 non-league loss to El Dorado (Placerville, CA).
