Iowa High School Basketball - North Cedar ripped by Tipton
January 5, 2023: Stanwood, IA 52337 The Tipton Tigers basketball team scored 72 points and held the host North Cedar Knights to 36 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calamus-Wheatland for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. Tipton will meet a Warriors team coming off a 77-49 non-league loss to Wilton (Wilton, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-5.
The Knights (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA). The Buccaneers enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, East Buchanan was routed by Alburnett (Alburnett, IA), 72-36, in a league contest.
