January 5, 2023: Creston, WA 99117 Wilbur-Creston-Keller Wildcats (Creston, WA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oroville Hornets (Oroville, WA), 65-37 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Wilbur-Creston-Keller upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Odessa (Odessa, WA) to play the Tigers in a 1B Northeast bout on Saturday, January 7. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 4-6. Odessa lost 47-44 in their recent league bout against Almira-Coulee-Hartline (Coulee City, WA)
Next up, the Hornets play the Okanogan Bulldogs (Okanogan, WA) in a 2B Central Washington bout, on Saturday, January 7. Oroville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 71-60 non-league win over Liberty (Spangle, WA).
