Arizona High School Basketball - Pima tops Snowflake
January 5, 2023: Pima, AZ 85543 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Pima Roughriders (Pima, AZ) and the visiting Snowflake Lobos (Snowflake, AZ), saw Pima's basketball squad knock off Snowflake by a tally of 56-41.
With the victory, Pima improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Roughriders host Willcox (Willcox, AZ) to play the Cowboys in a 2A East challenge on Friday, January 6. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Willcox lost 62-55 in their recent league challenge against Bisbee (Bisbee, AZ)
Next up, the Lobos play the St. David Tigers (St. David, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Snowflake will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 81-66 non-league win over St. Johns (St. Johns, AZ).
