January 5, 2023: Morrow, GA 30260 The M.L. King Lions (Lithonia, GA) basketball felled the host Morrow Mustangs (Morrow, GA), 45-35 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Lions (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Stephenson was beaten by Woodland (Stockbridge, GA), 51-47, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Southwest DeKalb for a test on Thursday, January 12. Morrow will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 42-37 league win over Eagle's Landing (McDonough, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-5.
