Nebraska High School Basketball - Guardian Angels Central Catholic nudges Bishop Neumann
January 5, 2023: West Point, NE 68788 Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays (West Point, NE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bishop Neumann Cavaliers (Wahoo, NE), 43-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Guardian Angels Central Catholic upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Bluejays host Howells-Dodge (Howells, NE) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Howells-Dodge lost 52-47 in their recent league bout against St. Francis (Humphrey, NE)
Next up, the Cavaliers clash with the Scotus Shamrocks (Columbus, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Bishop Neumann will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Shamrocks go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 39-21 non-league win over Lakeview (Columbus, NE).
