Louisiana High School Basketball - Caldwell Parish tops Simsboro
January 5, 2023: Columbia, LA 71418 Caldwell Parish Spartans (Columbia, LA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Simsboro Tigers (Simsboro, LA), 63-52 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Caldwell Parish upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Calvin (Calvin, LA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 3-8. Calvin lost 68-44 in their recent non-league bout against LaSalle (Olla, LA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Kilbourne Hawks (Kilbourne, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Simsboro will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Hawks come into the bout with a 3-14 record after their 49-28 non-league loss to Georgetown (Georgetown, LA).
