The Castle Knights basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Evansville Reitz Panthers to 56 in the Knights league triumph on Thursday.

The Knights now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bedford North Lawrence for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Castle will meet a Stars team coming off a 52-39 league win over Jennings County (North Vernon, IN). The Stars record now stands at 15-3.

The Panthers (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Princeton (Princeton, IN). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Princeton was nudged by Vincennes Lincoln (Vincennes, IN), 61-44, in a non-league contest.
