Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lanesville Eagles (Lanesville, IN) and the visiting Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN), saw Lanesville's basketball squad overcome Floyd Central by a tally of 47-38.

With the victory, Lanesville improves its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Crothersville (Crothersville, IN) to confront the Tigers in a Southern challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-11. Crothersville lost 43-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Christian Academy (New Albany, IN)

Next up, the Highlanders confront the Borden Braves (Borden, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Floyd Central will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 50-37 non-league win over Paoli (Paoli, IN).
