Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Tri-County North Panthers (Lewisburg, OH) and the host Franklin Monroe Jets (Pitsburg, OH), saw Tri-County North's basketball squad hold off Franklin Monroe by a count of 43-41.

With the victory, Tri-County North upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Dixie (New Lebanon, OH) to play the Greyhounds in a Western Ohio challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Dixie lost 79-27 in their recent league challenge against Tri-Village (New Madison, OH)

Next up, the Jets play the Milton-Union Bulldogs (West Milton, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 9. Franklin Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record.
