Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Laramie Plainsmen (Laramie, WY) and the visiting Green River Wolves (Green River, WY), saw Laramie's basketball squad hold off Green River by a tally of 50-43.

With the victory, Laramie improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Plainsmen travel to Kelly Walsh (Casper, WY) to battle the Trojans in a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. The Trojans come into the contest with a record of 1-6. Kelly Walsh lost 41-31 in their recent non-league contest against Sheridan (Sheridan, WY)

The Wolves (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Thunder Basin (Gillette, WY). The Bolts come into the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Thunder Basin edged Mitchell (Mitchell, SD), 54-45, in a non-league contest.
