Iowa City West Trojans (Iowa City, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Xavier Saints (Cedar Rapids, IA), 58-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Iowa City West upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Iowa City (Iowa City, IA) to clash with the Little Hawks in a Mississippi Valley bout on Sunday, January 8. The Little Hawks go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Iowa City lost 62-27 in their recent league bout against Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA)
