South Dakota High School Basketball - Lead-Deadwood overwhelms Oelrichs
January 5, 2023: Lead, SD 57754 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers (Lead, SD) and the visiting Oelrichs Tigers (Oelrichs, SD), saw Lead-Deadwood's basketball squad wallop Oelrichs by a tally of 50-25.
With the victory, Lead-Deadwood improves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Golddiggers host New Underwood (New Underwood, SD) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. New Underwood lost 39-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Hill City (Hill City, SD)
Next up, the Tigers play the Philip Scotties (Philip, SD) in a B Region 7 challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Oelrichs will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Scotties come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 59-35 league loss to Bison (Bison, SD).
