January 5, 2023: Concord, IL 62631 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Triopia Trojans (Concord, IL) and the visiting Lutheran/Calvary Crusaders (Springfield, IL), saw Triopia's basketball squad wallop Lutheran/Calvary by a tally of 37-8.
With the victory, Triopia improves its record to 3-13 on the campaign. The Trojans host PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL) to confront the Bluejays in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 16. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a record of 18-0.
Next up, the Crusaders confront the Litchfield Purple Panthers (Litchfield, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 9. Lutheran/Calvary will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Purple Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 43-33 league loss to Gillespie (Gillespie, IL).
