The South Ridge Panthers basketball team scored 87 points and held the visiting McGregor Mercuries to 18 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nashwauk-Keewatin for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. South Ridge will battle a Spartans team coming off a 73-28 non-league loss to Chisholm (Chisholm, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 3-5.
