The Overland Trailblazers basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Sand Creek Scorpions to 59 in the Trailblazers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Trailblazers now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northglenn for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Overland will battle a Norsemen team coming off a 31-26 non-league loss to Gateway (Aurora, CO). The Norsemen record now stands at 2-9.

The Scorpions (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mitchell (Colorado Springs, CO). The Marauders come into the 5A/4A Colorado Springs Metro - Nouth contest with a 0-8 record.
