The Winter Springs Bears tipped the visiting Seminole Seminoles basketball team by a final score of 53-47 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

With the victory, Winter Springs upgrades its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Oviedo (Oviedo, FL) to play the Lions in a 6A District 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 8-7.

Next up, the Seminoles play the Deltona Wolves (Deltona, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 9. Seminole will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record.
