North Carolina High School Basketball - Mallard Creek nudges Cox Mill
January 5, 2023: Concord, NC 28027 Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC), 30-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mallard Creek upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Hough (Cornelius, NC) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Hough won 39-11 in their recent non-league bout against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC)
Next up, the Chargers clash with the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Cox Mill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Ragin' Bulls go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 21-18 non-league win over Mooresville (Mooresville, NC).
