The Uxbridge Spartans basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers to 31 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leicester for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. Uxbridge will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 48-30 non-league loss to Northbridge (Whitinsville, MA). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-2.

The Beavers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bay Path RVT (Charlton, MA). The Minutemen enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record.
