Cornerstone Charter Academy Ducks (Belle Isle, FL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Harmony Longhorns (Harmony, FL), 50-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cornerstone Charter Academy upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Ducks travel to Lake Mary Prep (Lake Mary, FL) to play the Griffins in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Griffins come into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Longhorns play the St. Cloud Bulldogs (St. Cloud, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Harmony will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 60-35 non-league loss to South Lake (Groveland, FL).
