January 5, 2023: Houston, TX 77036 Lamar Texans (Houston, TX) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders (Houston, TX), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Texans confront the Katy Tigers (Katy, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Lamar will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 9-3 non-league win over Royal (Brookshire, TX).
The Fighting Crusaders now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Victoria East for a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. Strake Jesuit will confront a Titans team coming off a 1-1 non-league Fulshear (Fulshear, TX). The Titans record now stands at 0-1.
