Tennessee High School Basketball - Briarcrest Christian crushes Hartfield Academy
January 5, 2024: Eads, TN 38028 Briarcrest Christian Saints (Eads, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hartfield Academy Hawks (Flowood, MS), 76-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Briarcrest Christian upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Saints travel to Memphis University (Memphis, TN) to play the Owls in a Division II-AA West bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 13-1. Memphis University won 80-43 in their recent non-league bout against Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY)
Next up, the Hawks play the Evangelical Christian Eagles (Cordova, TN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Hartfield Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 46-40 league loss to St. George's (Collierville, TN).
