North Dakota High School Basketball - Trinity Christian can't hold off Ellendale
January 5, 2024: Williston, ND 58801 The Ellendale Cardinals basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Trinity Christian Crusaders to 53 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cardinals now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washburn for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Ellendale will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 49-46 non-league loss to Medina/Pingree-Buchanan (Medina, ND). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-1.
The Crusaders (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier (Edgeley, ND). The Rangers enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier was nudged by Wilton/Wing (Wilton, ND), 75-59, in a non-league contest.
