Oklahoma High School Basketball - Gore can't hold off Sallisaw
January 5, 2024: Sallisaw, OK 74955 The Sallisaw Black Diamonds basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Gore Pirates to 49 in the Black Diamonds non-league triumph on Friday.
The Black Diamonds now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Poteau for a NOAA contest on Tuesday, January 9. Sallisaw will battle a Pirates team coming off a 55-49 non-league win over Haskell (Haskell, OK). The Pirates record now stands at 5-6.
The Pirates (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Webbers Falls (Webbers Falls, OK). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Webbers Falls was nudged by Cave Springs (Bunch, OK), 52-48, in a non-league contest.
