Vermont High School Basketball - Green Mountain nips Rivendell Academy
January 5, 2024: Chester, VT 05143 Green Mountain Chieftains (Chester, VT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Rivendell Academy (Orford, NH), 60-57 in a league bout.
With the victory, Green Mountain upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to White River Valley (Royalton, VT) to play the Wildcats in a Southern Vermont - C bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 7-1. White River Valley won 65-26 in their recent league bout against Twin Valley (Wilmington, VT)
Next up, the play the Twin Valley Wildcats (Wilmington, VT) in a Southern Vermont - C bout, on Saturday, January 13. Rivendell Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
