Oklahoma High School Basketball - Piedmont can't hold off Guthrie
January 5, 2024: Piedmont, OK 73078 The Guthrie Bluejays basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Piedmont Wildcats to 51 in the Bluejays non-league victory on Friday.
The Bluejays now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weatherford for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Guthrie will battle a Eagles team coming off a 85-45 non-league win over KIPP Tulsa University Prep (Tulsa, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 11-1.
The Wildcats (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against KIPP Tulsa University Prep (Tulsa, OK). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, KIPP Tulsa University Prep was nudged by Weatherford (Weatherford, OK), 85-45, in a non-league contest.
