In Friday's non-league outing, the Tuscarora Huskies (Leesburg, VA) basketball squad felled the visiting Independence (Ashburn, VA), by a margin of 75-56.

The Huskies (9-1) will now prepare for their outing against Heritage (Leesburg, VA). The Pride go into the Dulles outing with a 0-10 record.

The now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Potomac Falls for a Potomac outing on Monday, January 8. Independence will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 81-61 non-league win over Dominion (Sterling, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 11-0.
