The Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves basketball team scored 89 points and held the visiting McLean to 49 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wolves now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fork Union Military Academy for a VISAA Division I contest on Saturday, January 6. Saint John Paul the Great Catholic will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 66-54 non-league loss to Model Secondary School for the Deaf (Washington, DC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-6.
The (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hebrew Academy (Rockville, MD). The enter the Potomac Valley contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Hebrew Academy was routed by Sandy Spring Friends (Sandy Spring, MD), 77-59, in a league contest.
