Oklahoma High School Basketball - Midwest City nips Union
January 5, 2024: Tulsa, OK 74133 Midwest City Bombers (Midwest City, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Union Redhawks (Tulsa, OK), 75-74 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Midwest City upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Bombers travel to Norman North (Norman, OK) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Norman North won 54-30 in their recent non-league bout against Putnam City (Oklahoma City, OK)
Next up, the Redhawks play the Putnam City Pirates (Oklahoma City, OK) in a 6A District 3 bout, on Saturday, January 6. Union will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 54-30 non-league loss to Norman North (Norman, OK).
