Georgia High School Basketball - Temple topped by Model
January 5, 2024: Temple, GA 30179 The Model Blue Devils basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the host Temple Tigers to 67 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Friday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gordon Central for a AA Region 7 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Model will battle a Warriors team coming off a 63-42 non-league win over Coosa (Rome, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 10-6.
The Tigers (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Northgate (Newnan, GA). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Northgate was defeated by McIntosh (Peachtree City, GA), 55-38, in a league contest.
