New York High School Basketball - Avoca Central trounces Addison
January 5, 2024: Avoca, NY 14809 The Avoca Central Tigers (Avoca, NY) basketball crushed the visiting Addison Knights (Addison, NY), 57-16 in Friday's non-league test.
The Tigers (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Arkport Central (Arkport, NY). The Bluejays go into the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Arkport Central walloped Alfred-Almond (Almond, NY), 63-16, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Alfred-Almond for a Section 5 Steuben 1 test on Wednesday, January 10. Addison will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 63-16 non-league loss to Arkport Central (Arkport, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 0-13.
