January 5, 2024: Fordyce, AR 71742 The Fordyce Redbugs (Fordyce, AR) basketball felled the visiting Arkansas Razorbacks (Texarkana, AR), 36-24 in Friday's non-league test.
The Redbugs (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Hampton (Hampton, AR). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Hampton thwarted Nevada (Rosston, AR), 52-50, in a league test.
The Razorbacks now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to White Hall for a 5A South test on Tuesday, January 9. Arkansas will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 52-26 league win over Pine Bluff (Pine Bluff, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-7.
