In Friday's non-league outing, the Boiling Springs Bulldogs (Spartanburg, SC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC), by a margin of 55-32.

The Bulldogs (7-10) will now prepare for their outing against Dorman (Roebuck, SC). The Cavaliers go into the AAAAA Region 2 match with a 10-6 record. In their last match, Dorman was routed by J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC), 50-35, in a non-league match.

With the defeat, Hillcrest moves to 2-10 on the year. The Rams travel to Gaffney (Gaffney, SC) to meet the Indians in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 9. The Indians enter the match with a record of 10-4. Gaffney won 57-53 in their recent non-league match against Clover (Clover, SC)
