Colorado High School Basketball - Discovery Canyon overwhelms Elizabeth

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) and the visiting Elizabeth Cardinals (Elizabeth, CO), saw Discovery Canyon's basketball squad wallop Elizabeth by a tally of 60-27.

With the victory, Discovery Canyon improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Thunder host Pueblo Central (Pueblo, CO) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Cardinals confront the Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Elizabeth will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 59-29 non-league loss to Mullen (Denver, CO).
