The Demons now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smithfield-Selma for a 3A Quad County battle on Tuesday, January 9. Fike will confront a Spartans team coming off a 68-7 league loss to Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 0-10.
The Trojans (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Golden Falcons come into the 3A Quad County battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, C.B. Aycock beat East Wake (Wendell, NC), 33-25, in a league battle.
